My Readers Share Their Hearts; Our Men and Women in Uniform Overseas

For all of you who participated in writing letters to the troops, I thank you for your support. Today was the day I assembled our box of goodies to be sent to our men and women overseas via Operation Shoebox.

Here are the notes you wrote expressing your thanks and gratitude to our men and women in uniform.
One of the items on the troops' wish list was books. A copy of "My Funny Dad, Harry" written by our very own Karen Zemek is headed overseas. Karen's book will be featured in my next "Share Your Hearts Giveaway."
A few of the items I assembled.

And, the items Tara donated. These lip balms and lotion bars were hand made by her. The amount of effort she put into this project deserves a huge thank you. You might want to consider stopping by her Etsy shop if you are looking for a fabulous yet inexpensive gift for your Mom for Mother's Day.
One of two bags of Tara's very special lotion bars.
The box is on its way today thanks to all of you who are so generous with your comments. I plan to start another box in the next few days and make this feature a regular part of my blog.

Thank you dear readers for sharing your hearts again.

I think this is a great idea, so let us know when you're putting together another box of goodies. I think the soldiers are going to enjoy this package. Those lotion bars and lip balms look wonderful. And, reading your post reminded me that I was going to order Karen's book about her Dad so I'd better get on it!

You are going to put a smile on many people's faces that really need one. Thank you again for doing this.
