A Different View of Fall

The first frost has come and gone. Day after day of brilliant sunshine has given way to a different kind of beauty. Fog has encased Red Pine Mountain in a shroud of silence. Still, the vibrant reds and oranges peek through the mist. It's magical.

Frost?? already?
The pictures are all just beautiful!
We had temps in the low 90's the last few days but today is cooler.

I am ready for our first frost. This has been a long hot summer. We usually have a frost around the end of Oct. or first of Nov.

Have a great day.
Pam
P.S. the pictures would make a wonderful jigsaw puzzle!

thanks for stopping by the blog, I love the shot of the horse racing up the ridge. Very cool , looks like you have the fog like we do, we have had two weeks of wet and warm weather, today is the first sun we have had in a while and this week promises some dry cool air, cheers. Laura

Those are terrific pictures! It's amazing that you have frost already. It seems that the summer has just flown by. I guess I should start getting our house ready for the winter.

These are excellent pictures. Only a place like yours could give that effect. I love seeing the horse in action.

Very mystical and magical. And very Autumnal. California just won't give in. 100 today. Fall is getting its pay docked when it finally shows up!
